In comparison to 2022, when 539,645 students passed (representing 85.18% of candidates), there has been an increase in the pass rate by 0.13%. Additionally, there is an increase of 53,096 students, equating to 9.84%, who have qualified to continue to Form Three compared to the previous year.

Among the students who have successfully progressed to Form Three, 314,949 are girls, accounting for 83.66%, and 277,792 are boys, representing 87.28%. The data indicates that boys have performed better compared to girls in these examinations.

NECTA also announced the results of the national Standard Four assessment conducted in 2023. Out of the total, 1,287,934 students out of 1,545,330 who received results, which is 83.34%, have passed, obtaining grades A, B, C, and D. (Swipe for the Standard Four results).
